Facing the impending nomination/application period in the Erasmus+ program for the incoming 2017/2018 academic year, we’d like to remind our partner universities of the particular requirements regarding Spanish Language certification by those of your medical students interested in a stay in the Bachelor’s in Medicine in the UMH.
Since all course instruction in the Bachelor’s in Medicine is given in Spain, the Faculty authorities would like to remind applicants that they must at least accredit a B2 level (according to the CEFR) of Spanish, prior to the beginning of their stay.
In the case of applicants interested in the Psychiatry course, a C1 level certification is required due to the unique characteristics of the clinical practice in this specialty.
As was also previously notified to our partners and due to the process of implementation of the new degree, the sixth year in the Bachelor’s in Medicine (practical rotations) is currently closed to any national or international mobility program. The Faculty Board subsequent to the results of that process of implementation will decide whether to again allow mobility for those courses in the future, and in such case, university partners will be promptly notified.
