We are pleased to enclose information about the Transfer Visiting Student Programme (outside the Erasmus Programme) on offer at the University of Malta.

Students may apply to study at the University of Malta for either one semester: October-February/February-June or one academic year: October-June. Study-units (classes) are offered at undergraduate level. Students may opt to select classes from various subject areas and years, depending on recommendations from the sending University and approval of the host departments (the list of subject areas available for transfer visiting students can be viewed at the bottom of this page: http://www.um.edu.mt/int-eu/visitingstudents/whychooseuom).

Some reasons why students choose to study at the University of Malta include:
- All teaching at the University of Malta is in English
- It has an Education excellence spanning over 400 years
- It offers a variety of subject areas for its visiting students
- It offers a multilingual population and multi-cultural environment
- Students can experience the best of both worlds: studying at an internationally recognised University on an island of sun, sea and vast historical heritage (dating back to 5000BC).

The deadlines are:
For October 2016 Intake:   1st June 2016
For February 2017 Intake:  1st November 2016
