EMBL - Europe’s leading life sciences laboratory invites key scientists to join online workshop - "SARS-CoV-2 sequencing and informatics".

This special knowledge-exchange event provides an opportunity for key research and healthcare scientists in the EMBL Member States to discuss challenges, opportunities and best practice in managing the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic using genomics and informatics-based approaches.
Workshop will be held online on 22nd March. This workshop will gather experts in high-throughput sequencing and data processing, sequence-data analysis and sharing, and phylogenetics and epidemiological analysis. Each session will conclude with a discussion panel, led by the session chair and summarizing the experience and views of all speakers in that session. The discussion sessions will also invite input from the audience. The event will conclude with a more general discussion on current experiences and sharing best practices across the EMBL member states.
