Summary: Evaluations of TEL interventions mainly focus on outcomes and rarely report detailed information of the intervention or process (especially the usability). This information is essential for other educators to make decisions about adoption or adaption in their own context.

Learning Objectives:
By the end of the webinar, applicants will:
- Have an increased awareness of the importance of reporting process information about TEL interventions.
- Develop core skills for designing and reporting evaluations of TEL interventions.

Format:
Mix of short presentations to include appraisal of published TEL intervention evaluations and action planning for future approaches. Q&A.

Anticipated Outcomes:
The intended outcome is an increase in the quality of the design and reporting of evaluations of TEL interventions.

Short bio of prof. Sandars: After training in hospital medicine, John entered the world of General Practice. John was also a GP trainer, GP tutor, Macmillan GP Facilitator in Palliative Medicine and part-time lecturer in general practice at the University of Manchester. During his time in general practice, he was awarded the AH Robins' Fellowship in General Practice Research. He developed his academic career in medical education as Associate Professor in the Leeds Institute of Medical Education, University of Leeds and was appointed Professor in Medical Education at the University of Sheffield before moving to Edge Hill University in 2016 as Professor of Medical Education.
